If you haven’t been able to compete this year then make sure you help us stay in touch with you over the coming year by subscribing to our regular Debating Matters email newsletters. Recruitment for the 2010/11 competition will begin in May 2010, so make sure you’re one of the first to receive an invitation to compete!

We invite all schools unable to participate in this years competition to attend a local Qualifying Rounds to see the competition live, participate form the audience and meet some of the Debating Matters team. Find out where your nearest Qualifying Rounds is - this is a great way to experience Debating Matters first-hand in advance of the 2010/11 competition. The events are completely free to attend, but are hosted by a participating school and so capacity for guest schools is sometimes limited - it’s therefore essential that you contact Debating Matters in advance of the event if you would like to attend so we know to expect you.
