The Global Uncertainties Schools Network presents school students and teachers with the opportunity to directly engage with the work of social scientists and opinion formers and to investigate and understand the debates and political disagreements within key themes of the project. The network will be established through an initial series of six events taking place in different regions of the UK. Each event will be hosted by a Debating Matters school but will involve four additional schools, creating a network of 30 schools in total. Events will vary in format, but broadly speaking each will involve students and outside speakers in a stimulating and challenging day of discussion and debate.
