Bamburgh Castle

The King of Castles, Bamburgh has dominated the North East coastline in ever grandiose forms culminating in the coastal fortress we find today. The cradle of Christianity in England it has a rich and diverse history, including being the first castle in England to fall to canon fire! Today it is one of the North Easts most visited and photographed castles. Open throughout the year it welcomes thousands of visitors into its fourteen State Rooms and to enjoy the amazing views from the battlements and grounds.
