“We are celebrating the third successive year of record rises in our GCSE results with 80% of young people achieving 5 or more GCSE passes at A* to C. This is significantly higher than all our external and national targets. It is a good indication of the continuing rise in academic standards in our school and the excellent value we add for our young people. We are delighted for our young people and congratulate them and their families; we are really appreciative of all the partnership and support we have received over this last year. It is really encouraging that these results come just a week after another year of improved A Level Results, where our pass rate rose to 98% and the numbers of young people achieving top grades rose by another 8%.”
