Hulme Hall

23 Bolton Road Port Sunlight Wirral Merseyside CH62 5DH

Hulme Hall is located in Port Sunlight, built by Lever Brothers to accommodate workers in its soap factory, and now part of Unilever. The name is derived from Lever Brothers’ most popular brand of cleaning agent, ‘Sunlight’, and work commenced on the model village in 1888. Port Sunlight contains 900 Grade II listed buildings, and was declared a Conservation Area in 1978. The Hall has hosted many famous faces, including The Beatles.
