“Kirkcaldy High School was originally built in 1852 but many changes have led to the school we know today. It is a modern school with the most up-to-date equipment and resources. We aim to maintain the high quality of our educational inheritance for the benefit of the young people of the area. The development of the school continues with the installation of the all weather sports areas, massive investment in ICT and the establishment of our School Board, Kirkcaldy High School Association and Friends of Kirkcaldy High School.

In Kirkcaldy High School we aim to encourage all pupils to make the most of their talents and to develop the personal qualities, attributes, knowledge and skills which will prepare them to be useful and caring members of the community.
