“Leicester High School is an independent selective day school for girls aged 3 to 18, which is a member of the Girls’ School Association (GSA). It has a Christian Foundation open to girls of all faiths, or none. It has an outstanding academic record at A level and GCSE. There are 435 girls in the school. Through our teaching and provision, we aim to: develop intellectual curiosity, a love of learning and the ability to think critically and creatively; foster individual talents and imagination; broaden horizons and develop values based on respect, tolerance and understanding; build the self confidence and self discipline necessary to meet the challenges of the modern world; encourage social responsibility; provide opportunities for leadership; fulfill academic potential through independent learning.”
