Maricourt Catholic High School
Hall Lane Maghull Liverpool Merseyside L31 3DZ
“Our trustees, the Sisters of Mercy, founded a Catholic school to serve the whole community, based on gospel values and Christian truths. We believe in serving our pupils, to develop their talents and skills, to challenge their thinking and to nurture and foster their learning, creativity and spirituality. By developing the whole child we are equipping our pupils with the skills and knowledge necessary for them to find fulfilment and meaning in their lives and be of service to society. The school offers good facilities set in impressive grounds where our children experience a broad range of sporting, cultural and enrichment opportunities. Maricourt is an academically successful school where children feel safe and happy. We are proud of our strong pastoral team who, along with learning mentors, a school counsellor and a Chaplain, provide outstanding emotional and spiritual support. Through strong partnerships with parents and carers, and building on the work of our primary schools and parishes, we aim to instil in our young people good manners, courtesy and consideration for others as well as integrity and honesty.”
