“Spalding Grammar School is a Voluntary Aided Boys’ selective school, founded by Royal Charter in 1588. Originally sited in the Parish Church of St Nicolas and St Mary for nearly three hundred years, it moved to its present site in 1881. There are 621 boys in years 7 to 11 and a mixed 6th Form of 297. The school acquired Specialist School status in Languages and Engineering in September 2006.”
