The Gryphon School
Bristol Road Sherborne Dorset DT9 4EQ
“We are determined to be at the heart of the community and to provide an outstanding education for all the young people in Sherborne and the surrounding area. The Gryphon Sixth Form will be the largest ever this September with almost 400 students. There is ongoing investment in new facilities, including additional Sixth Form study space, WiFi access across the site for our students and a new café and restaurant. This is an exciting time for The Gryphon School, which continues to thrive since its establishment in 1992 as a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, in 21st century purpose-built facilities in beautiful rural surroundings. In 2003 the school was granted Specialist School status for Business and Enterprise which complements an outstanding curriculum with an enormous range of courses and opportunities.”
