Topic guides for the Debating Matters Competition 2009/10 Regional Finals are now available to view and download from the Debating Matters website. 

Following a winter of researching and debating of our own, and under the editorial guidance of former Debating Matters alumnus David Bowden, the DM team have chosen seven contemporary political, scientific and cultural issues for students to debate this spring. With debates on the Copenhagen talks, MPs’ expenses and freedom of artistic expression to name just three, we look forward to some lively and well researched arguments from the students who will be battling it out to secure at place at the competition’s National Final in central London, 2 -4 July 2010.
