    School Programmes Manager

    British Library

    Abi is responsible for the development and delivery of a programme of onsite workshops, conferences and events for primary and secondary students and teachers, drawing inspiration from the British Library’s permanent display gallery, as well as the temporary exhibition spaces. In addition, Abi runs special projects such as Magna Carta and Beowulf Young Researchers, year 7 Book Club and the Teachers’ Network. Her programmes engage over 35,000 learners each year. In her former role as Web Content Developer for the British Library Learning Team Abi worked on the World War One, Discovering Literature and Sisterhood and After websites. Abi has also worked at the Poetry Society and Tate Britain, developing creative educational sessions for students, teachers and lifelong learners.
