Before his current role at the ESRC, Adrian was previously Head of Politics, Economics and Geography and a Director of Corporate Policy. Before the ESRC he worked for the then Department of Employment and the Manpower Services Commission. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Cambridge, is married with two sons, and is a keen supporter of Derby County F.C.
