    University of Cambridge

    Alastair is an urban designer, researcher and writer. As an urban planning consultant he has worked within the private and public sectors including as a master planning advisor for the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. He’s currently undertaking a post graduate research on the diversity, specialisation and integration of metropolitan regions. Alastair is a regular contributor to Urban Design, and has also written for Blueprint and Building Design. He is co-editor of The Future of Community: Reports of a Death Greatly Exaggerated.
