Annette has been MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole since 2001 and has particular interest in early years education, special educational needs and child protection issues. Annette is an ambassador for the NSPCC and is also interested in micro finance and micro credit, having close links with several charities which aim to improve women’s lives in developing countries through microfinance. She recently travelled to India to see some of the work achieved with these organisations. Annette is married with two adult daughters and a grand-daughter.
