  • Ashley Mallett

    Huddersfield University

    Ashley lives on the outskirts of Rotherham and is a student of the Master of Law and Practice Degree at the University of Huddersfield. He competed in the 2008/09 Central Regional Final, where he received an honourable mention. He continued his involvement with Debating Matters by joining the Alumini network and now chairs and judges rounds across the North of England. Ashley is a qualified football referee and is an assistant referee for The FA Women’s Premier League. Ashley is a former South Yorkshire Police Cadet and was honoured with an ‘Outstanding Achievment Award’ upon graduating from the force. He hopes to practice as a solicitor in the coming years.
