Bel is the author of six novels, over 25 children’s books, and also non-fiction works including her recent memoir, ‘Small Dogs Can Save Your Life.’ Her career in journalism spans forty years, and currently she writes a weekly advice column in the Daily Mail, as well as comment articles and book reviews. In addition she holds three honorary degrees and is an experienced broadcaster (radio and television) as well as an accomplished public speaker.
