    Bryn Marsh was educated at Cambridge and Oxford Universities. He taught English in Nepal and history in Huddersfield. Bryn was director of Education and director of Children’s Services of his local council.
    After retirement, he trekked 5 times in the Himalayas and cycled across India from the Bay of Bengal to the Arabian Sea. He returned to Nepal to teach in 2015 and was caught in the Nepali earthquakes so ended up in the relief effort.
