PEOPLE

  • Charles Madzima

    Student & DM Alumnus

    University of Birmingham

Charles has been with Debating Matters since 2006/07 when he took part in the competition as part of the Jack Hunt School (Peterborough) team, only to lose out at the Central Regional Finals. Having left sixth form he now thoroughly enjoys his role as an alumnus of the competition and an alumnus of the University of Birmingham were he was reading medicine. Charles is convinced of the vital role Debating Matters has in engaging especially young people in intellectual exchanges and stimulating discussions. Apart from working as a junior doctor in and around Birmingham, his other interests lie in volunteering and music.
