Charlotte has worked in the internet and digital marketing industries for the past 12 years with roles from senior project manager, Internet Shopping for ASDA in 1997 to managing the on-line strategies for Mercedes Benz, Alliance and Leicester, O2 and first direct. She was one of the founders of Pollenation Internet, an open source technology company and negotiated a final sale of the company in 2008. Since then Charlotte has set up a small consultancy which specialises in digital marketing strategies focusing on how companies can make the most of the social web. She is the Chair of the Institute of Directors, Young Directors Forum, Yorkshire and Humber. Charlotte also sits on the Common Purpose Advisory Group, Leeds.
