    Series Producer ‘The Moral Maze’

    Dan Tierney produces ‘The Moral Maze’ on Radio 4. In the last 12 months, he has been part of a team that has developed online tools for 16-18 year olds, to aid their critical thinking and debating skills, using the Moral Maze’s extensive archive. He is also currently working on a 5-part series exploring 21st century morality with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, to be broadcast on Radio 4 later this year. In addition, Dan script-edits ‘Thought for the Day’ and produces ‘The Daily Service’.

    Previously, he has produced programmes including ‘Sunday’ and ‘Beyond Belief’ (Radio 4) and ‘The Essay’ (Radio 3). Before joining the Religion & Ethics Radio unit in Salford, Dan worked as a journalist in BBC News on programmes including Radio 1’s Newsbeat and 1Xtra, and as a TV producer on Newsround.
