    Childhood and Youth Research Institute, Anglia Ruskin University

    Darren’s interests include the involvement of children, young people, and vulnerable adults in research and developments in qualitative research methodologies and methods. Prior to his appointment at Anglia Ruskin University Darren was the Young People’s Participation Development Officer at the National Youth Agency. Darren developed and coordinated the Young Researcher Network. He has also lectured in the Department of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University and Loughborough University. At Nottingham Trent University he taught and developed modules on Qualitative Research Methods, Social Structure, ‘Race’, Culture, and Society on the BA (Hons) Degree in Sociology at Nottingham Trent University At Loughborough University he was a Research Associate in the Young Carers Research Group and taught on the MSc in Criminal Justice Research.
