David has work at De Monfort University since 1993. Between 1990 and 1993 he was Head of Methodology and English Language Teaching at Lulliang University in The People’s Republic of China (his Chinese is of an intermediate level!). Specialist areas in teaching, learning and assessment include the Lexical Approach in English Language Teaching and the usage of formal English in academic texts. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
