David currently works for the EPSRC; the largest government body for funding engineering and science. He was previously a geologist at University College London before becoming a science writer and educator at UCL and the Institute of Physics. He is currently working on ‘The Prince Who Climbed the Mountains of the Moon’, a popular science book about exploration and discovery in the 1920s.
