    Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI)

    Diana is the director of policy and advocacy at the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI). She holds a PhD in German from the University of Cambridge and has experience of policy-making in both Whitehall and at the EU-level, having previously worked at the Department for Education as the programme manager on the team establishing the office for students and having served as an independent expert to the European Commission helping to shape EU science and research policy. Diana has published a variety of policy reports on subjects as diverse as the gig economy and the ‘Uberisation’ of work, the values behind European science and an analysis of the provider submissions submitted as part of the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
