With a fifteen year communications career providing counsel to those at the top of both business and politics, Matt founded the communications consultancy, Message House in 2013. Before that he was CEO of Burson-Marsteller offering clients senior level skill and experience in corporate strategy, reputation management, media training, CEO counsel and crisis management. He is a recognised expert in polling, message testing and brand positioning based on evidence provided by quantitative polling, focus groups and in-depth interviews. Prior to joining B-M in 2010, Matt was Managing Director of Penn, Schoen, Berland Associates, a strategy and research firm, where he set up the company’s first office outside the US. Matt has also worked for the British Labour Party as General Secretary.
