Ed Noel is a second year Philosophy Undergraduate at the University of St Andrews. He is an alumnus of Barton Court Grammar School, which reached the national final of Debating Matters in 2008. His interests include long distance running, boxing, philosophising and debating. Ed has an eclectic interest in schools debating, having run various types of competitions for various age groups. The reason Debating Matters has secured his dedication is its genuine commitment to engaging young people with the issues which shape the world around them. Ed has run Debating Matters Qualifying Rounds and has chaired debates at the Scottish Final.
