  • Dr Gary Kerr

    Researcher in Science Communication

    University of Salford

    Gary is a researcher in science communication at the University of Salford, where he researches the role of science festivals in shaping society. Gary has a background in medical genetics, before his research interests shifted from science to the social dimensions of science and technology. He is a keen science communicator and trains science communicators all over, from the UK to the Middle East. Gary has been involved in numerous public engagement activities including undertaking a 6 month tour of primary schools presenting science shows & workshops. Gary is also the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Science Policy & Governance.
