  • Reverend George Pitcher

    Religion Editor, Daily Telegraph; Associate Priest, St Bride’s, Fleet Street

    George worked as a business journalist from 1980, working as Industrial Editor of The Observer from 1988-92 and was named National Newspaper Industrial Journalist of the Year 1991. He was a Co-Founder of Luther Pendragon (comms consultancy) in 1992, which was sold in a management buy-out in 2005. He joined the Telegraph in May 2007. He is the author of the Death of Spin (2003) and A Time to Live: The cases against Assisted Suicide (to be published July 2010). He was ordained deacon in 2005, and priest in 2006.
