Ian has 30 years experience living and working in a variety of culturally and racially diverse urban settings – Halewood in Liverpool, Erdington/Nechells in Birmingham and Greenwich and Lambeth in London. His experience is in the areas of community development, the voluntary sector, partnerships, regeneration, faith settings, local government and neighbourhood renewal, and he is currently Director of Lambeth First. Ian is a voracious reader of contemporary fiction; an expert in 17th century history with a special emphasis on the Civil War and Commonwealth period, and is in despair about current political discourse.
