Writer and teacher
Icing on the Cake Blog
Jack writes about education, and has contributed to the Times Educational Supplement, Schools Week and the Guardian. He also speaks about education, and has appeared at the Battle of Ideas at the Barbican and the Sunday Times Festival of Education. In 2015, he contributed a chapter to his first book, David Didau’s book ‘What If Everything You Knew About Education Was Wrong?’ His next book is for Sage Publications and is a teacher’s guide to education data. A primary specialist, he has taught children from Reception to Year 6, in a arrange of settings both urban and rural, extremely small and very large. His writing questions many of the assumptions made about education, and he is a firm advocate of using evidence to justify opinions.
