Jason’s background is in publishing and marketing. He earns his living writing articles, letters and press releases, creating ad campaigns, designing websites and lobbying journalists. In short, he says his job is all about persuading other people that his cause (and it might be any cause) is the right cause. That’s why he’s always enjoyed debating. He was the secretary of his school debating society and an enthusiastic member of his university’s debating Union - an enthusiasm that reflected a lifelong love of both free speech and free beer. At university anyone who spoke in a debate got free drinks at the bar afterwards. He’s assuming the same rules apply here in Bristol.
