    Wellcome Trust

    The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health by supporting bright minds in science, the humanities and social sciences, and public engagement. Jenny’s role involves building partnerships between researchers, Engaging Science stakeholders and organisations that work with diverse people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, in order to engage broad publics with science as it relates to health. She sits on funding committees and monitors a range of funded projects. Previously Jenny was in the Arts team, working to raise the profile of the Wellcome Trust within the arts and cultural sector and co-managing the Trust’s Arts Awards funding schemes.  Her work experience spans 10+ years of working in the arts in roles such as running a venue, producing, programming, press and marketing. Jenny has a particular interest is in increasing access and equity in relation to the arts, science and the cultural sectors.
