Jess has a background in politics that makes her somewhat qualified to judge a debating competition, spending three years on the senior management team of the Institute for Public Policy – the UK’s leading centre-left think tank, She was a member of Tony Blair’s campaign team on the 2001 election, and has a masters in British Politics & Globalisation.
