Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP)
Jo is Chief Executive of NEP, one of the 39 Local Enterprise Partnerships responsible for driving forward economic growth in their area. Northamptonshire has one of the fastest growing UK populations and Jo is developing an ambitious strategy to grow its economy by £4billion, create 32,500 new jobs and build 37,000 new homes by 2021. Prior to joining NEP in 2013, she spent two years in Cheshire, playing a lead role in developing one of the national Community Budget pilots, which looked to transform public services. Jo was previously Government’s Housing, Planning and Transport Director for the North West. Her previous roles included European Programme Director, with responsibility for two of the largest socio-economic investment funds in the UK. Her Civil Service career covered the breadth of the policy agenda from skills to land use planning. Jo is married with three adult children, and currently lives between Northamptonshire and Cheshire.
