    Jo started her cultural learning career as an archives assistant in the county archives in North Yorkshire before working as a primary school teacher in Leeds. From Yorkshire Jo moved to Warwickshire as community education officer for the Warwickshire Museums and then as head of heritage education with responsibility for learning in the county’s museums, archives and field service. Jo is now head of education at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford; the world’s greatest university museum of art and archaeology. An experienced museum learning professional, Jo has extensive experience of programming, audience development, teaching, gallery interpretation, evaluation, project management, managing HLF funded projects and strategic planning.
