    Editor and Journalism lecturer

    John is the most prolific editor of books on modern matters journalistic. He has edited fifteen hackademic texts on subjects ranging from the Arab Spring to investigative journalism. His latest ‘The BBC Today: future uncertain’ with Professors Richard Tait and Richard Lance Keeble was recently published by Abramis. John has lectured at the Universities of Kent, Brunel, Westminster and Coventry Universities but before entering higher education, he worked as a TV current affairs producer for the BBC, and ITV and Channel Four, having helped invent Question Time and as an early producer on Watchdog. He is a Royal Television Society Journalism Award winner, a regular British Press Awards judge and Events Director at The Media Society.
