John has 18 years experience of working in the UK healthcare. In his current role John heads the UK health services business at Quintiles Transnational, the world’s leading bio and pharmaceutical services provider, offering clinical, commercial, consulting and capital solutions to the healthcare industry. He joined Quintiles in October of 2010 after 11 years at Pfizer where he held senior roles in marketing, strategic development and NHS liaison before going on to build and lead their health services business, Pfizer Health Solutions. He began his career as an graduate NHS Management trainee and worked in hospital management for 8 years before joining Pfizer. In his current role John overseas the delivery of all Quintiles nursing services as well as developing and delivering their NHS business strategy. He has also been a member of the external reference panel for the Sustainable Development Commission and a board member of the NHS Confederation Partners Network.
