He was able to balance skiing, cycling, eating and learning French, with work. His work was on the structural characterisation of protein complexes that are involved in the organisation and regulation of DNA during development. Having completed his PhD and post-doc at the European Molecular Biology Lab and Structural Biology Institute in Grenoble, he joined Immunocore. He now works as a scientist in the Protein Science department helping engineer future anti-cancer drugs.
