Kasia graduated from University College Utrecht, with a major in social sciences and a minor in science. She went on to study psychology at the University of Edinburgh and VU University Amsterdam, and is interested in how social processes and events affect people’s health. Kasia spent the spring semester of 2009 at Duke University in the USA, looking at the association between being a victim of racism and subsequent drinking, and is currently working as a research assistant for the Medical Research Council, examining the impact of social policies on health.
