    Len joined Abbott from Glaxo in 1984 and following the company split in 2013 and after creating and heading up AbbVie’s Government Affairs team for ten years, he is now currently responsible for AbbVie’s Sustainable Health programmes. Len has previously been the chair of various Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) working groups and was an inaugural member of the Sutton & Merton PCT Patient and Public Involvement Forum. During the last few years he has received numerous Best in Class awards including the Best Healthcare Policy Campaign “Fit for Work” by Communiqué. Len’s main work interests include improving standards of care for patients and breaking down silos to improve patient outcomes, especially utilising the concept of “Investing to Save” as well as reducing inequalities. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
