PEOPLE

  • Lillian Chasteau

    Private Tutor; Candidate County Councillor

    Labour Party

Lillian joined the Debating Society at school and is an alumnus of the Debating Matters Competition. The skills she learned at debate did not atrophy during her university days, used them both academically, and socially! Now, standing for County Council, she has found the ability to debate well comes in useful in local politics. Taking part in public debates, like those organised by Debating Matters, has also helped her develop her confidence and composure in public speaking during her campaign.
