    Freelance writer and director

    Lloyd started out working with The Comic Strip, which included Peter Richardson, French and Saunders, Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson, and has gone on to be a director and writer of many comedy shows, documentaries and adverts for television and radio, and is co-writer of the the feature film Redemption Road. He was asked to set up and run a ‘guerilla’ PR company for Terence Conran’s Storehouse Group, and has been a director at the Paramount Comedy Channel, where he worked with the likes of Matt Lucas of Little Britain, Paul Kay as Dennis Pennis and Keith Allen in Robin Hood as well as with Michael Palin, John Cleese, Terry Jones and Eric Idle of Monty Python. Most recently Lloyd has started working with a new generation of comedy talent including Justin Edwards, a Perrier Newcomer winner and Kevin Eldon of comedy programmes Brass Eye and Nighty Night. Lloyd has presented a three hour live talk radio show and been a ‘cultural’ contributor for Rowland Rivron’s LBC show.
