    Special Educational Needs Professional, Quality Assurance Manager

    Riverside Education, Birmingham

    Mark was a university drop-out but returned to higher education for teacher training after working with old people, road-building, auction room management and lorry driving. He has worked in all areas of primary and secondary education, mostly in inner-city schools. Mark has also spent many years in Special Needs Education including a spell as an SEN Education Officer in Birmingham. Now semi-retired, he is working as advisor for a small EBD secondary school specialising in working with young people with ASD. Mark is a founding and current committee member of Speakers’ Corner Lichfield.
