    Freelance Scientist and Communicator

    Martin has been creating opportunities to get out of the lab and get everyone involved in the wider debate about science, art, and society for more than twenty ​five ​years​.​ ​Many of these projects revolve around his research interests which include Neuroscience, Environmental Studies, Music, and the debate about what science can and cannot help us with. Martin has worked with Oxford University, the Science Museum, the Wellcome Trust, British Heart Foundation and Oxfam. He is currently developing and delivering projects for The Royal Institution, Plymouth University, The University of Reading, and the British Council. He is ​a ​Famelab finalist, twice winner of “I’m a Scientist Get Me Out of Here!”​, and scientific advisor and songwriter​ for ‘Brainsex’​ - a Wellcome Trust​ funded ​project developed originally for the Edinburgh Fringe​.
