  • Dr Martyn Lobley

    retired GP

Martyn was an NHS GP for 30 years before he saw the light and retired to spend more time with his guitars.

He writes funny stuff for money (and on Facebook for fun) and once toyed with stand-up comedy. He wrote an Amazon best selling book, a regular weekly column for The Times and articles for virtually every other daily paper, even the Daily Mail.

Listeners and viewers heard him pop-up on every BBC radio station known to mankind and saw him on BBC One and Two, Channel 4 and SKY, where never-ending re-runs of his appearance in “What killed Michael Jackson?” will secure his own immortality. He has supported Manchester City Football Club since childhood and sees no reason to stop now.
