Matt has worked in education for 19 years including 12 years as a teacher. He writes and delivers training for national organisations, local authorities, schools and teachers focusing on how they can challenge and support bright students in everyday learning. Most of his work can be described as Narrowing the Gap – focusing on raising the aspirations and achievement of students from disadvantaged backgrounds. In his spare time Matt spends time with his three children and tries to catch up on almost permanent sleep deprivation.
