Michael’s experience spans the UK public and private sectors, having worked at the Association of Chief Police Officers where he planned and led public engagement for major incidents, including the 2011 riots and London Olympics.
More recently he was Head of UK Media at security firm, G4S. He set strategic direction and in the few moments of calm between the crises, looked to affect change and develop new ways of working. In this role he worked with the Academy of Ideas to set up the UK’s first prisoner-on-prisoner debating competition at HMP Birmingham.
In 2018, Michael set up a new PR and comms agency, Eterna Partners, to help companies and organisations to tackle the complex media and communications landscape.
Michael is originally from sunny Scunthorpe, where he is often found visiting family. His partner is from Brazil and got the rougher end of the stick when it comes to visiting the in-laws.
