Freelance production journalist
Michael has worked in media for almost 30 years, starting as a reporter on local newspapers and for the past 12 years working freelance for national business magazines and websites. Outside of the office, he is happiest in an opera house, or walking a long-distance footpath. Contrary by nature, he embraced his mid-life crisis not by buying a motorbike, but by dressing up as an Edwardian gentleman to take part in the 2011 Tweed Run cycle ride through central London.
