Michael completed his Nurse training in 1996 at University College London. He is an infection prevention specialist and has lectured on infection control issues at many national and international conferences. Michael has also worked with the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) developing national infection prevention guidelines. A highlight of Michael’s career was when he lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan, where he was appointed to set up an infection control service at a large teaching hospital. In 2012 Michael completed a Masters in Nursing and was awarded the honour of a distinction. He enjoys running as a hobby.
